A new program, which claims to bring Android users the proprietary chat support that is iMessage of Apple, is elevating concerns.

The complimentary program, called iMessage Chat, is not unavailable in Google Android Play shop, and seems to let Android users to instant message by using their I-phone/iPad/Mac-owning buddies.

Peculiarly, Apple not wrote the program but by a third-party Android developer called Zweigart.

Maybe surprisingly, Android customers who've tested the software claim away the program does work, and does allow you receive and to send messages of Apple apparatus between users and Android smart-phones.

But at what price are these messages?

As 9to5Mac reports, the Android program dingbats Apple's hosts in to believing as a way to exchange messages this is a mini -loving friends.

Sure, you do not have to pay any cash to send an email - iMessage between apparatus is also free - however, there are additional factors.

And to do that, you need to enter your Apple ID and password.

The same password which you use to purchase movies, apps and music. The same user identification and password which you use to locate your iPhone when you drop it.

You shouldn't hand strangers those details.

Undoubtedly there are ample reasons to stay well away from it, although I can-not say with conviction that this Android version of Talk that is iMessage was written with malicious intentions.

And there is more...

The programmer behind the Cydia app store for jailbroken iPhones, Jay Freeman, raised concerns on Googleplus that the Android iMessage program doesn't appear to connect directly with Apple's hosts, but rather processes any messages and info it receives via servers in China.

Another developer, Steve Troughton-Smith, warned on Twitter the Android iMessage program had the capability to quietly down load code onto devices in the background - a feature which may be used to install malicious software.

In attempting to stamp it out too, without doubt Apple will not postpone. Perhaps not simply may they not be happy about their brand being used without authorization, they certainly will be worried that Android users may somehow imagine that the business has formally supported the applications.

I wouldn't be surprised if Apple has a quiet word in Google's ear and asks them to remove iMessage Chat from the app-store sooner rather than later. Naturally, that will not prevent theapk showing on third party app markets, elsewhere on the net.

Once again, the policing of its market of Google's is introduced in to issue by this unquestionably shady-looking program.
